The theme park “Dinosaurs” was a unique theme park. With a total of 26 effigies, with mechanical – robotic movement, colors and sounds, combined with the rest of the scenery in the pavilion, visitors literally traveled in the past, in the era of the huge, prehistoric animals.
Among the most striking over-sized exhibits was T-Rex, the colossal, prehistoric, predator Tyrannosaurus, 6 meters tall and 14 meters long, the Brachiosaurus, with the tall elephant-like neck. The acquaintance with the giant dinosaurs that dominated the Earth during the Mesozoic century was made by touring a museum space transformed with plants and fossils in a natural setting where prehistoric animals lived. Contact with movement and touch contributed to a unique, interactive and entertaining tour.
This theme park was created according to the suggestions and under the supervision of the Paleontological Institute Felix de Azara, the University of Maimonides, Argentina, and had the signature and custody of Sebastian Apesteguía, an internationally renowned palaeontologist and Ph.D. in Natural Sciences.
